Every 17 March of the year it’s St. Patrick’s Day, that is to say the day to celebrate Ireland and its foremost patron saint. Although this feast is strictly part of the cultural and religious heritage of Ireland, the event has spread to Europe, and Milan makes no exception.
People living in Milan usually go to one of the city’s Irish pubs (and also English or Scottish ones, will the Irish people ever forgive Italians for this?), that organize special themed events.
