Every year in March Milan and the entire Lombardy, like the rest of Italy, celebrate the eagerly awaited annual FAI Spring Days (Giornate FAI), a unique opportunity to discover hidden treasures across the country.

What are the FAI Spring Days?

FAI Spring Days is an event organized by FAI (Italian Environmental Foundation) since 1992 and traditionally held in March. It is an impressive celebration that, since its first edition to-date, has involved more than 7,000,000 visitors and which, every year, see the extraordinary opening of hundreds of locations across regions in Italy. A not-to-be-missed event featuring unusual heritage sites that are not generally accessible and which, to mark the occasion, FAI open to the public during the weekend of Giornate Fai.
