1. ‘Milano Photo Week’, Photography in Milan

The new edition of Milano PhotoWeek, a city-wide event designed to promote and foster auteur photography and related activities, kicks off this week. This is the flagship event of the 12th international ‘Photofestival Milano’, an extravaganza that will run from 20 April to 20 June.

2. ‘Fang Zhaoling. Signora del Celeste Impero’, When East meets West

The first major Italian retrospective dedicated to Chinese artist Fang Zhaolin. More than 60 works explore the artistic career of Zhaolin, who managed to create a bridge between Chinese and Western art by integrating the visual elements and techniques of American and European art into her landscape painting.

3. Exhibition ‘NEW YORK NEW YORK. Italian Art: Rediscovery America.’

Divided between two prestigious Italian museums, the Museo del Novecento and the Gallerie d’Italia, the exhibition showcases 150 works from the early decades of the 20th century to the 1960s and explores the work of Italian artists who travelled, lived, worked and exhibited in the United States.

4. ‘Flight Festival 2017. From Hot Air Balloons to Space’ Fair at EXperience park

Tradition and innovation merge in the magical universe of colourful hot air balloons. The thrilling program of events also features 18 metre-wide kites of all shapes and sizes, drones, flight simulators, Pipers and gliders, plus loads of other innovative attractions for a unique exhibition dedicated to the history of flight and space.

This is the first-ever exhibition dedicated to the life of neo-pop American artist Keith Haring. The 110 pieces on view include a number of monumental works never before seen in Italy.

6. ‘TDM 10. Giro Giro Tondo. Design For Children’ exhibition

An interactive exhibition featuring games and images that have amused and informed them and the objects they used to discover the world. Boasting a strong figurative component, with a pop spirit, the exhibition features several play areas where young visitors can interact, play and learn.
