1. Piano City
18 – 20 May 2018
An intense weekend during which music reverberates throughout several of the city’s most unexpected venues. Houses, courtyards, stations, trams, boats, museums, parks and markets host dozens of concerts with music by Mozart, Frank Zappa, Duke Ellington and the Rolling Stones. Concerts, workshops and lessons highlight the role played by music and the piano at an event endorsing Milan’s international and musical vocation! (see the main picture)

2. Imaginary tales by Paolo Ventura
8 March 2018 – 29 July 2018
The Milanese illustrator and photographer Paolo Ventura who brings dreams to his art tells the story of an imaginary world where different forms of expression are used as a means of transforming dreams into reality. This exhibition of ‘short films on paper’ is divided into three sections and includes several previously unreleased works specifically created by the artist for Armani/Silos.

3. Allianz Vertical Run – a stairway to the sky
27 May 2018
The climb to the top of the Allianz Tower in the CityLife district, Italy’s tallest skyscraper, as far as number of floors is concerned (202 metres for 49 floors), starts at 7.30pm. A maximum of 450 athletes compete in this unique race – a part of the Sky Running Federation circuit.

4. Paper Masterpieces on Display at the Sforza Castle
23 March 2018 – 22 July 2018
More than 200 graphic works including drawings, engravings, prints and artist’s books are displayed at the Castello Sforzesco introducing viewers to the collection of works on paper housed at Milan’s civic museums, libraries and archives.

6. Profit No Profit – shopping and charity
10 – 13 May 2018
Italian high-fashion brands support an initiative for unprivileged children with the project ‘PNP – L’Alta Moda Aiuta i Bambini’ by donating a selection of their current season’s collection of clothing, bags and sunglasses as well as countless other accessories that will be sold at discounted prices up to 80%. All funds resulting from the fundraise will be donated to the ‘Associazione per il Bambino Nefropatico Onlus‘ and ‘Panda Onlus‘.
