For lovers of live music, Blue Note needs no introduction. Inaugurated in 2003, in the vibrant Isola district, the big-name artists who have performed here have made this club one of the most famous showcases for jazz in Europe. These include The Blues Brothers, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Stefano Bollani, The Angels in Harlem Gospel Choir and the James Taylor Quartet. Like its counterpart in Greenwich Village, the ingredients for its success are based on a combination of music and food.
In addition to a varied line-up of music, guests can enjoy a menu featuring simple but sophisticated cuisine, including Italian and international specialities accompanied by a selection of local and French wines, plus a list of more than 200 cocktails.
Every evening, from Tuesday to Sunday, with a single performance on Sunday, the club reverberates with the notes of important international artists for two shows, starting at 9pm and 11pm (11.30pm on Saturdays and Fridays), where audiences, sitting near to the artists can immerse themselves in the music.
