“Alla Scoperta di Morricone” is a new tribute to Maestro Ennio Morricone by the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra conducted by Giacomo Loprieno. The unique tribute to the music of the great Italian composer is enriched with new, largely lesser-known but beautiful pages from Morricone’s boundless repertoire to create the new show ‘Discovering Morricone’.
Not just a concert, but a journey of words, suggestions and solo performances that guide the audience through the decades that have made Italian and international cinema and music great. An incredible journey that began amidst the melodies that have remained in the collective memory of generations with their evocative power and that have characterised the activity of the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra.
The usual programme of the past seasons with “Mission” “The Legend of the Pianist on the Ocean”, “Once Upon a Time in the West”, “Nuovo Cinema Paradiso”, “Once Upon a Time in America”, “For a Few Dollars More”, “Malena” continues with other works such as “The Untouchables”, “La Califfa” and “Inverted Canon”, with an important space for the great songs written for artists such as Dulce Pontes Joan Baez and Mina in a new symphonic version.
