About the event
The Aziza quartet of David Holland, Chris Potter, Lionel Loueke and Eric Harland is a line-up of international jazz stars. The inspirer of the band is the great Dave Holland, an absolute master of the double bass and a historic performer with an unattainable creative touch: an example that has set a school for entire generations.
Chris Potter is one of the world’s leading saxophonists, while Lionel Loueke‘s contemporary guitar nuances lend an exotic artistry, taking the sound back to the artist’s intriguing African origins. Eric Harland is an energetic, dynamically sophisticated drummer with an authoritative sound.
