As always in the third week of November, Milan will have a week dedicated to books and reading: BookCity Milano 2023. This is the 12th edition of the festival that follows a thematic format well known to the city of Milan, which loves to bring together tens or hundreds of important or minor events under a single theme – as happens for example with Design Week, Fashion Week, Art Week, Green Week or Beauty Week.
These are the numbers of the last edition of BookCity Milano, still marked by the pandemic: 1430 events, 260 venues, 348 publishers and various proposers and 1645 books presented in bookshops, libraries and public and private spaces.
An event that promises to involve the city, from the centre to the suburbs, with presentations and debates on high quality prose and poetry, fiction and art.
This year, the main theme of the event will be ‘The Time of Dreaming‘, but the event also continues to expand its calendar with the rich schedule throughout the year: readings, dialogues and presentations.
