About the exhibition

American sculptor, photographer, video artist and performance artist Bruce Nauman enters PirelliHangarBicocca with an exhibition on spatial and architectural research.
This artist has marked the history of contemporary art from the mid-1960s to the present, with pioneering research that embraces different media: installation, video, sculpture, performance, photography, drawing and sound. His production denotes a singular interest in understanding the human experience and the deepest aspects of the psyche, investigated through the perception of the body, the relationship with space, time and language.
The works on display explore for the first time in their entirety his experiments in spatial experience, architectural approach, use of light, sound, language and video.
