Her music is a mesmerising blend of Afrofuturism, hip hop and jazz, with a political subtext that has a powerful connection to the identity and heritage of her Nigerian origins.
His latest studio album, ‘Ibio Ibio’, is a tribute to his tribe, the Ibibio people of Nigeria’s south-east coast and features an incredible line-up, including Daniel Casimir, Sarah Tandy, Winton Clifford, Renato Paris, Sheila Maurice-Grey, Rosie Turton, Shirley Tetteh, hip hop drummer, Daru Jones, Birmingham rapper, Lady Sanity and Sam Jones.
