About the initiative
Cortili Aperti (Open Courtyards) is back again this year opening Milan’s most beautiful secret courtyards to the public. A spring appointment, now in its 28th edition, that Milan offers to the many lovers and devotees of the Italian historical, artistic and architectural heritage.
Some private historic houses in Piazza Sant’Alessandro and the surrounding area, which are not normally accessible, can be visited from 10am to 6pm thanks to the availability of their owners and the enthusiastic work of young volunteers under 35 from the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane-Lombardia. Guided tours are available, leaving every quarter of an hour from the Palazzo Annoni infopoint (Corso di Porta Romana 6) and lasting about 90 minutes.
Visitors will also be able to admire the precious vintage cars on display in Palazzo Stampa Soncino and in the courtyard in Via Carducci 38.
There will also be musical performances inspired by nature and sustainability thanks to a Resonance Piano.
