About the exhibition

Hosted in the spaces of Milan’s Triennale, the display “Carlo Aymonino. Fedeltà al tradimento” (the Italian for Loyalty to Betrayal)highlights the important role played by architect Carlo Aymonino in the second half of the 20th century.
Curated by Manuel Orazi and based on an idea by Livia and Silvia Aymonino, a major exhibition that retraces Aymonino’s entire design career, illustrating its importance and complexity and through archive materials, projects, paintings, texts, photographs and interviews, focusing not only on the architect but also on the man.

Into more details

In addition to his designs, the exhibition also includes materials and documents from the most intimate side of Aymoninos life. At the heart of this section are the red albums that for many years heused for his drawings. The featured albums were filled with anecdotes, producing a collective work in which we see the outlines of many of the events and protagonists evoked in his work in the cities.
