About the exhibition

The spaces of Armani/Silos pay tribute to the work and artistic production of the recently departed photographer Peter Lindbergh with the exhibition “Heimat. A Sense of Belonging”. Inaugurated in contemporary with Milano Fashion Week Women’s held in February 2020, the exhibition is focused on fashion and features a selection of images that have never been displayed before, highlighting the photographer’s unique vision and his iconic style.

The exhibition revolves around three sections – The Naked Truth, Heimat and The Modern Heroine – to create an itinerary expressing
the complexity and immediacy of Lindbergh’s work, highlighting the affinities between Giorgio Armani and Peter Lindbergh. Both the designer and the photographer share, in both art and life, the appreciation for truth and the search for honesty.
