Now on its 33rd edition, Milano Unica is one of the leading fairs in the textile sector, featuring a specific focus on Made in Italy production. Held twice a year, following the Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer seasons, and after being held in its digital edition only in the previous edition, now the fair makes its comeback with a physical format.

What’s on in this edition?

The July 2021 edition is set to introduce the upcoming trends in textiles for the F/W 2022/23 season. This edition revolves around the “Magnificent Passions”, as the core theme to the fair and as its source of inspiration. Translated into the language of fabrics, these result a variety of creations spanning from lingerie and precious silks, of chaste demi-couture fabrics, natural fibres, bandage-like weaves, glossy coatings and bombastic silicone finishes, up to velvets, brocades, Lurex and gold. The fair also features a special interest in sustainability, beasting also a specific focus on reuse of renewed fibres, as well as eco furs in technical wool, 3D camouflage and chrome.
