About the event
Now on its 4th edition, the first held under the roof of the new ADI Design Museum, the Oggetto Libro festival features two exhibitions and a
series of meetings with leading figures from the world of art and design.
For this edition of the International Festival of Design and Artists’ Books, is spread over the spaces of ADI Design Museum first – thousing more than 150 works of art and design books alongside three installations – and at Milan’s Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense (from 1 to 31 December).
What’s on display?
The numbers of the 4th edition of Oggetto Libro are impressive and feature 134 artists’ books, displayed alongside 74 design books and 58 hybrid books from over 21 countries worldwide. Augmented reality plays a key role in the festival with over 96 AR experiences. More than a third of the books reproduced in the catalogue can be explored by combining the real and digital worlds, allowing visitors to go beyond the visual impact of the work.
