About the festival
JazzMi, one of the most awaited events connected to the world of music, returns to Milan for its seventh edition to pay tribute to the universe of jazz in all its facets.
This is a contemporary festival inspired by the model of multicultural and widespread European festivals, involving great artists from the Italian and international music scene and new jazz stars. The program includes over two hundred concerts in theaters and clubs, with special events, films, exhibitions, meetings with artists, and more.
Among the legendary names of artists expected in Milan: Jean-Phi Dary & Jaff Mills (Oct. 6), Paolo Fresu (Sept. 30), Fabrizio Bosso (Sept. 29), Emma-Jean Thackeray (Oct. 7), Alfa Mist (Oct. 1), Jaimie Branch & Jason Nazary (Oct. 7), Vijay Iyer (Oct. 4).

JazzMi 2022 will also dedicate a special space within its program to promote and narrate the ecological transition of Milan and the Metropolitan City through its collaboration with the Forestami project. The latter’s goal is to grow the natural capital of urban areas through de-paving, renaturalization initiatives by planting three million new trees by 2030 in the Metropolitan City of Milan.
