About the event
Sensational saxophonist, Kenny Garrett is regarded as one of the finest interpreters of post-bop. Since the beginning of his career, he has recorded several albums as a leader and has had numerous Grammy nominations. During his career, he has played and recorded with jazz greats such as Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Woody Shaw, McCoy Tyner, Pharoah Sanders, Brian Blade, Marcus Miller, Herbie Hancock, Bobby Hutcherson, Ron Carter, Elvin Jones, Kenny Kirkland, and Mulgrew Miller.
