About the exhibition
The exhibition “Tempo intermedio” by Manuel Cicchetti presents 70 photographs from the four-year project that focuses on those places in Italy, such as shopping centres, petrol stations, building sites, factories, skyscrapers, symbols of progress and economic fortune, which are now being challenged by the global crisis. The photographs, strictly in black and white, are taken from the 1969 project by italian photographer, in which the human being is totally absent from the portrayed scene.
