About the event
The international festival MiAmOr dedicated to musicians for passion and profession returns to Milan in a revamped edition. It is a unique event that bets on passion for music as a trait d’union between professional and amateur musicians, young and old, classical and not. An opportunity for all musicians to crown their dream of playing in public with a great symphony orchestra, according to the idea of PianoLink founder Andrea Vizzini.
Lifelong doctors, lawyers, office workers and entrepreneurs will perform together with the PianoLink Philharmonic Orchestra, with piano and orchestra repertoires from Mozart to Å ostakovich, via Beethoven, Rachmaninov and a few lesser-known ones such as Lutoslawsky and Addinsell.
After the Opening Concert at the Franco Parenti Theatre on 16 July, Bocconi University will host two days of open public testing for free at the new building in Via Röntgen on 18 and 19 July. And to close the show on a high note, two Gala Concerts have been organised in the wonderful setting of the Palazzo Reale: two whole days of music open to the public, from open rehearsals to the concert in the evening.
