At Palazzo Reale, the great Sala delle Cariatidi becomes a mirror work by Michelangelo Pistoletto. A synthesis of more than sixty years committed by the The Italian artist – painter and sculptor, animator and protagonist of the Arte Povera current – to the promotion of peace, environmental and social sustainability, with the active participation of all citizens. Hundreds of hovering doves, high in space, carry the symbol of the Third Paradise as a sign of peace, in homage to Pablo Picasso who in 1953 exhibited his work Guernica in this same room, with the intention of initiating a rebirth in Milan and the country after the traumas of the world war.
