About the Arch Week

Triennale di Milano, the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation and the architecture faculty of Politecnico di Milano welcome the fifth edition of Milano Art Week, the widespread event dedicated to architecture and urban transformation. Held under the art direction of architect and Triennale’s president Stefano Boeri, the event conjures up the online and offline dimensions featuring both live streamings and live events.
The program of the 2020 edition – in particular on Saturday 19th September – features round tables, talks and conferences on both mornings and afternoons, which are also enhanced by an online event marathon featuring the participation of international guests.

What’s on in this edition?

The fifth edition revolves around the core theme of urban and private space, which have been particularly affected by the pandemic, with the main objective of analysing the potential and limits of new technologies and new studies in architecture. The meetings also explore the way new technologies transform the physical spaces where people grow up, live together and meet.
Among the international guests, the live streamings feature Izaskun Chinchilla, Odile Decq, Elizabeth Diller, Lina Ghotmeh, Momoyo Kaijima, Anupama Kundoo, Benedetta Tagliabue, Martha Thorne, Juan Navarro Baldeweg, Steven Holl, Arjun Appadurai, Mimmo Lucano, Aboubakar Soumahoro.
