This national event allows museum lovers to visit many of the most beautiful locations managed by the Italian Ministry for Culture and Tourism. Sometimes the museums organize side events, like guided tours, special discounts and family activities.

In Milan and Lombardy:
- Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan, open from 9-11pm (last admission at 10.40pm). A free guided tour on the history of Brera, its collections and masterpieces is available in Italian at 9.15pm. For guided tours in English (available at daytime) you should call the museum
