January 2024 will see the second edition of the first major event in Italy dedicated entirely to padel. The first edition in January 2023 was a great success: a 3-day event with a very rich programme (entertainment, shopping, tournaments and conferences) that involved more than 18,000 people, more than 2,000 of whom were fielded by the organisers on the 6 courts set up for the occasion in the beautiful MiCo pavilion. The ‘fair’, where more than 100 exhibitors were present, was literally stormed by fans who were able to meet, see in action and even play with world champions and international pros.
Padel is a sport that is continuing to grow steadily, now registering some 3,000 clubs and 7,700 courts spread across the peninsula and more than 1 million practitioners. The upcoming edition will have an even more international scope, precisely to strengthen the presence of buyers from some new areas, in which padel is particularly developing, such as the United States, the Middle East, China and the United Kingdom.
