About the exhibition
Athens, Berlin, Milan, Rome and the island of Ventotene are the places from which the great photographic journey of the young artist Lisa Borgiani, in search of Europe’s identity, began. A work in progress that will visit many other European capitals and cities, where the protagonists are black and white portraits of city dwellers, immortalised as they answer the question “What is Europe for you?”.

On show is an installation composed of the photographs and texts resulting from the author’s meetings-interviews, as well as three videos on the entire work carried out from 2019 to date. Created to bring citizens closer to the institutions and to increase interest in Europe, this project will have further resonance on the occasion of its presentation at the great international photography event MIA Fair: an appointment not to be missed on 10 October at Superstudio Maxi!
