Alice! In Wonderland

Alice! in Wonderland is a unique “nouveau cirque” event, whose setting makes the audience feel as if they’re part of Lewis Carroll’s book and together with his main characters takes the public on a journey to a fairytale dimension.
Technology, stage art, music and the best performers from all around the world are brought together to breathe life into an incredible performance, where the audience is brought “into the show” for a genuine, but at the same time poetic and evocative, experience.

The show will be staged inside a Spiegeltent, an unusual and rare temporary structure that will rise in the courtyard of the Fabbrica del Vapore of Milan, which for this special occasion will become the “Magic Mirror Theater”. The public will experience an astonishing journey through acrobatics and wonderful costumes, lights and evocative music, following Alice and the White Rabbit along their magical adventure into the enchanted wonderland of Lewis Carroll.

Milan is the first important stop of a big tournée which will take Alice! In Wonderland to France, Holland, Germany, Canada, and the USA.

Alice! In Wonderland boasts a creative team that brings together some of the greatest professionals of the world entertainment industry like Simone Ferrari and Lulu Helbæk (concept and direction), known all over the world for the audacity and originality of their creations (from X Factor to Nysa for Cirque du Soleil, as well as some of the most evocative ceremonies of major Olympic events), the French-Belgian stage designer Barbara de Limburg, the award-winning director of photography Pasquale Mari for the lighting design, and Nicolas Vaudelet, French costume designer for the recent Madonna and Cirque du Soleil tours.
The soundtrack is by English musicial John Metcalfe, also the arranger for U2, Coldplay, Peter Gabriel and Blur.

The Spiegeltent

An early 20^th century belgian structure as dancing floor: the original Spiegeltent that hosts Alice! In Wonderland is in itself one of the attractions of the show. Made of wood, velvets and decorated inside with mirrors, it amplifies the magic of the show and embraces the audience in an engaging all round atmosphere.
