Villa Arconati

About the event

Terraforma, the experimental and sustainable music festival at Villa Arconati is now in its 8th edition. Once again this year, it will take place in the gardens and park of the majestic 18th-century villa on the outskirts of Milan, in a true temporary symbiosis of art, life and nature.
The event gives space to experimental electronics, contemporary art, theoretical developments in architecture and the new horizons of environmental sustainability.
Keeping the theme of sustainability as the main pivot, this year’s event is inspired by the concept of “Organic Music Society”, Don Cherry’s 1972 album of the same name.
The organisation has in fact expanded a proposal of lectures and matinee concerts, continuing a path of multidisciplinary, cultural and social innovation.

Musical identity

The main proposal, and it could not be otherwise, is obviously the musical one. In the usual varied bill of electronic music, we find, among others, Hudson Mohawke, who brings to the stage a new interpretation of his third album “Cry Sugar”, the legendary dub techno vocalist Tikiman in tandem with Scion, Beatrice Dillon with Kuljit Bhamra, master of Bhangra, the UK techno of Batu, the b2b of the unfailing Donato Dozzy with Marco Shuttle, the ineffable electronica of Actress, the Scotch Rolex couple and Shackleton presenting their collaborative album “Death By Tickling”.

Tickets and Information

The project is hosted in the spaces of Villa Arconati-FAR at Castellazzo di Bollate, 30 minutes from Milan.
