“An Unexpected Collection. Journey into the Contemporary Between Painting and Sculpture” is a temporary exhibition at Gallerie d’Italia-Milano dedicated to Italian and international contemporary art.
With more than 70 works generally not exhibited at the Milan venue, including the most recent acquisitions of the Intesa Sanpaolo Collection, this itinerary focuses on the dialogue between the different sculptural researches of some of the major protagonists of the 20th century in comparison with important insights around painting of the Second Postwar period. A further, fundamental contribution to the display will come from selected works from the Luigi and Peppino Agrati Collection, now part of the artistic heritage managed by intesa Sanpaolo.
