A great return to La Scala, and with an unprecedented one, for William Forsythe: together for the first time the starting point and the new arrival point of the exploration into the musical fabric of James Blake, which began with “Blake Works I” at the Paris Opéra (4 July 2016) and which, passing through the digital stage, arrives at La Scala with the premiere of “Blake Works V” (Teatro alla Scala new production), the new chapter of “The Barre Project”.

An ever-evolving work, the “Barre” series began in 2021 at the height of the pandemic, with a dance filmed and streamed; the performances at La Scala will include a new and unique version, with new choreographic sections specially conceived for the Company’s diverse and formidable talents.
