Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a Fashion Blogger?
Mirko talks to us about Fashion shoots, parties and labels to watch this week.
How would you describe your daily routine?
Usually, in the morning I have shooting planned, so I spend the morning working with photographers. If not I will go the press offices with whom I collaborate with. We’ll get our heads together and think about ideas for new projects. I spend my afternoons uploading all the fresh content so everyone can see what I’ve been up to.
How did you start?
My friends kind of pushed me in this direction. I’ve always been passionate about writing and I’ve always adored fashion so I wanted to combine the two. I’d been thinking about setting something up for a while but It was my friends that gave me the final push. They said,
‘look Mirko, you’ve got a good handful of friends who can help you get this off the ground.’
Then my father stepped in and gave me a leg up, opening a site for me.
So we decided to go for it, thank God everything went well!
In your opinion, what is the hottest Fashion House of the moment?
My favourite brand is Massimo Gorgette, (MSGM) a brand that is constantly pushing the boundaries of fashion. They are really nailing it.
In terms of smaller, boutique brands, I’m also a huge fan of Alt Concept, they have a niche clientele, but their designs are absolutely in line with my fashion sense.
And finally, What events will you be attending this week?
I will definitely attend MSGM, I’ll go to the Patrizia Pepe Presentation and Elisabetta Franchi Show, it’s the first year that she is presenting her fashion show at Milan Fashion Week, so it will be exciting to see what she comes up with.
And Parties?
In terms of parties, I’m really excited for the Philipp Plein show and then the after-party. It’s going to be huge!
