UPDATING (December 2022) – The pub in Piazza Cadorna has definitely been closed.

Sloan Square… the place to be is the Milanese address for those who not only love good beer but are in search of a London-style pub. 38 draught beers and 400 labels, concerts, performances and shows in English!

A corner of London imbued with a British atmosphere, Sloan Square is the brainchild of John Peter Sloan who wanted to create a real English pub in the heart of Milan, an adventure that involved 3 other partners: Andrea Pastori, Antonio de Luca and Marco Cigna.
Guests are welcomed by a selection of the best British and international craft beers: 24 draught beers on the upper floor, 14 on the ground floor and more than 400 bottled labels that can also be purchased from the in-house beer shop.
Its cuisine nods at the quality of the finest Italian products, based on the meticulous search for high-quality ingredients and producers. Simple, tasty, gourmand dishes boasting sought-after pairings, designed to offer surprising results in beer cooking.
Also sells English language learners and books about Britain, beer and food.
Boasting a stage, it offers performances in English for audiences of various levels, concerts, educational/fun workshops and loads of entertainment that inevitably make Sloan Square ‘The place to be’.
Open Monday to Friday from 7.30pm to 2am. Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 2am.
