UPDATING (December 2022) – The restaurant has definitely been closed.

In late 2017 Milan has added to its wealth of culinary triumphs with the receipt of a highly coveted second star by Vun, the restaurant at the Park Hyatt hotel, helmed by Executive Chef Andrea Aprea (pictured here in the middle between his brigade and the staff of the Park Hyatt hotel). “The personality and talent of the chef and his team is evident in the expertly crafted dishes, which are refined, inspired and sometimes original”. According to the Michelin Guide, these are the elements of a success that has lasted since 2013, the year in which the restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star.
In addition to its highly central position just steps from the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Vun (literally ‘one’ in Milanese dialect) amazes diners on account of its simple, elegant design conceived by Flaviano Capriotti. The dining room is decorated with minimalist furnishings and striking decorative elements which combine to further heighten this unique dining experience.
Chef Aprea’s cuisine embodies all the ingredients of traditional Italian cuisine, in which the great classics of Milanese cuisine are intensified by Neapolitan aromas and flavours, highlighted by innovative pairings and avant-garde culinary techniques.

A starred wine list

The whole is complemented by an extensive wine list that in addition to featuring the best Italian and international vintages, also boasts an impressive selection of labels from small, prestigious wineries. The perfect addition to complete any meal and accentuate the tantalizing flavours of each and every one of the chef’s creations, from entrée to dessert.
