Seven types of “baguette” (the typical French bread), seven other different breads and a special bread for every day of the week. This is where the original proposal of the café-bar Égalité begins: an all-day gastronomic boulangerie that landed in Milan in 2018, where you can also enjoy excellent croissants, viennoiserie and baked pastries, with the laboratory on view and the oven in the room.

FROM BREAKFAST TO APERITIF, AN ALL-DAY TASTE EXPERIENCE
Égalité has brought a model of French bakery to Milan that is completely new on the Italian scene. The shop in the Porta Venezia area is a mix of a bakery, a shop selling fresh and packaged products, and a destination for a coffee, a light lunch, a snack or an aperitif. A formula that combines Italian and French gastronomic culture.

BREAD, FIRST OF ALL
The bread is the result of extensive research into doughs, leavening, special flours and French baking techniques carried out in the boulangerie’s workshop. Égalité bakes bread 4 times a day, with different types of products made with white and black flours. Highly hydrated, long-rising doughs using fresh yeast, water, salt and flour for maximum fragrance and softness.

PATISSERIE AND OTHER PRODUCTS… FRENCH STYLE!
The gastronomic offerings include sweet and savoury patisserie boulangère for French breakfasts and gourmet snacks, as well as sliced meats and cheeses, jams and pickles for the great bistro classics. Among the products that tell of the most original transalpine traditions are the famous Croque Monsieur, the Galette De Rois (for the Epiphany) or the Kouign amman, a typical Breton dessert.
