NEW OPENING
Those who have a weakness for top-quality Japanese cuisine have a new go-to destination in town for a quick takeaway lunch or dinner. It is called Aji and is the brainchild to entrepreneur Claudio Liu, the owner also of the first Michelin-starred fusion restaurant in Italy, the nearby Iyo, located in Via Piero della Francesca. Its elegant spaces are the ideal backdrop for an open plan kitchen boasting cutting-edge cooking technologies, where cooking facilities and expert chefs under the supervision of chef Lin Yin Lu work together to provide guests with top-notch Japanese creations including raw fish, carpaccio, gyoza, nigiri-sashimi, gunkan, as well as hot dishes or main courses. After choosing from the menu, easy to peer through by scanning a QR code on Aji’s business card, guests can ask for a delivery or takeaway service, to enjoy their favourite oriental sushi-box comfortably seated at home. However, those who wish to savour their favourite dish at the restaurant can sit at Aji’s social table. Only for the luckiest guests, as it only offers 12 seats.
