NEW OPENING

The Argentinean restaurant Porteño has enriched its presence in the city with the opening of its latest restaurant El Porteño Gourmet, located just steps from the Duomo and in the heart of the new Speronari Suites. Featuring a unique atmosphere recalling the restaurants in Buenos Aires, this foodie location was born from the reuse of furniture, a refurbished counter and ancient doors imported from Argentina. The essence of the authentic portena atmosphere comes from the perfect balance between intimate halls, dim lighting and an international, romantic flare devoted to hospitality. The ingredients are the key to the menu, which featured the best of the Argentinean cuisine, such as the Asado meat, as well as empanadas and pollo en escabeche, together with cosmopolitan influences resulting in raw meat, Sashimi Porteño (Fassona tenderloin marinated in soy, orange and Dijon mustard) or Sahimi Gazpacho (Fassona tenderloin with gazpacho, coriander mousse, snow peas, radish, black sesame and Maldon salt), together with various fresh pasta recipes. Those wishing to enjoy a healthy break can also indulge in salads, fish-based specialities or vegetarian options, followed by a rich dessert list and accompanies by Argentinean wines such as Malbec and Torrontes, or prestigious labels from Israel, South Africa and the USA.
