Important 20th century collections of religious art are housed in the elegant 18th century Villa Clerici: works of art, paintings, sculptures, stained glass windows and ceramics created by renowned masters of the calibre of Messina, Manzù, Funi, Carpi and Bodini. Alone the transition and history of Villa Clerici is remarkable. From being the palace for Giorgio Clerici in the early 18th century to a textile mill towards the end of the 19th century, the villa was completely renovated and is now the important art gallery.
