A former industrial plant, Pirelli Hangar Bicocca is a lively cultural space dedicated to the production, display and promotion of contemporary art. Permanent exhibitions include “I Sette Palazzi Celesti”, the monumental towers created by German artist Anselm Kiefer (see photo) enriched by five never-seen-before big paintings realised between 2009 and 2013. They symbolise a stylised city acting as a stage to Jewish and German culture; moreover, an installation by Fausto Melotti “La Sequenza”, located outside adds up to the already remarkable offer.

With its 15,000 square meters surface, Pirelli HangarBicocca is one of the biggest contemporary art centers in Europe. Some of the areas dedicated to the public services as the exhibition spaces themselves (Shed, Piazza, Aisles and Cube), compatibly with the artistic program, can host initiatives and private events.

Available for privates:

Shed: 1,400 square meters
Naves: 9,500 square meters
Cube: 550 square meters
Garden: 1,600 square meters
