The Diocesano Museum of religious arts, whose new headquarters were inaugurated in 2001, hosts over 700 works dating back to the 4th century A.D. By maximizing their historic and religious meanings, it preserves and promotes the valuable art treasures belonging to the “Diocese”, with smaller pieces collected from church museums and treasuries across Lombardy.


Opening Hours
Closed on 1 May, 25 and 26 December, 1 January and every Monday (except holidays)
Winter: Tue-Sun 10am-6pm, last admission is 30 minutes prior to closing time.
Summer: July-September Tue-Sat 7pm-midnight.
Full ticket price: €8€ (€4€ on Tuesdays), reductions available.
Combined ticket: – Diocesano Museum + Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio + Portinari Chapel + Basilica of San Lorenzo + Sant’Aquilino Chapel – 12€.
