The first building was commissioned in 1561 by Pope Pio 4th to host the association of Milan’s Magistrates, aka Collegio dei Giureconsulti. Today this elegant location set just a stone’s throw from the Duomo is known as Palazzo Affari ai Giureconsulti and is seat to Milan’s Chamber of Commerce and currently hosts exhibitions, conferences and important meetings.
