Formerly the aristocratic home of its founder, Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli (1822-1879), it houses a remarkable collection of Italian Renaissance masters: from Botticelli to Mantegna, from Piero della Francesca to Tiepolo. It also displays weapons, ceramics, glass, textiles, clocks, watches and jewellery.
