After the closing connected to the COVID-19 emergency and to Lombardy being a red or orange region (check out the current situation here), Milan’s Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci has announced its re-opening from 1 May 2021. From that day, visitors can once again enjoy the Leonardo Galleries, the largest permanent exhibition dedicated to Leonardo, the humanist, engineer and investigator of nature, but also book a guided tour.

As part of the ticket, guests can also visit the Space area with the only fragment of the Moon in Italy and the exhibitions “Fragility and Beauty“, “Extreme. In search of particles“, “#Foodpeople. The exhibition for those hungry for innovation“, as well as the area dedicated to Telecommunications. The outdoor areas are also open to the public and host the Enrico Toti submarine and the Vega launcher, the Railway and Airship Pavilions.

Good news also for all those who still can’t make it to the Museum, as the Science Museum has also inaugurated the first virtual tour dedicated to the Galleries featuring the participation of Claudio Giorgione, Leonardo, Art&Science curator at the Museum, which can be enjoyed online on the Museum’s official website.

Please note that access to the museum is still limited and, to avoid crowds and gatherings, tickets must be booked and purchased online.
