The Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia offers a permanent diffuse exhibition dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci, through the interpretations of 8 digital artists.
A digital itinerary in eight stages through the places in Milan linked to Leonardo, with a look at the contemporary city. Piazza Gae Aulenti, Parco Sempione, Castello Sforzesco, Piazza della Scala, Palazzo Reale, Conca del Naviglio, Darsena and the Museum of Science and Technology are the scene of three-dimensional animations, with an audio presentation of the artist’s vision. The city thus becomes a diffuse exhibition space that allows an experience beyond the fourth dimension.
The exhibition is site-specific: in order to view the digital works, it is necessary to open the ImaginAR app, download the exhibition and activate the location so that the app recognises and signals the works in the vicinity. Once at the location, simply frame with the app’s camera and you will see the digital works appear in 3D animated and multimedia, in relation to flat, cleared surfaces such as paving, pavements, lawns.
The diffuse exhibition can be enjoyed either independently or by booking a special tour together with a specialised guide, with the possibility of including a visit to the Museum. All information can be found at www.museoscienza.org
