NEW OPENING

Bulgari has re-opened its Milanese boutique in the heart of the Quadrilatero della Moda, after an in-depth renovation. Spread over 280 square meters on one floor, the boutique pays homage to key figures of Milanese design and architecture of the 1930s, including Piero Portaluppi, who designed Villa Necchi Campiglio. The furnishings, in a clear nod to the Milan of times gone by, include a table by Paolo Buffa, chairs by Ico Parisi and bookshelves and tables by Mangiarotti. Original Gio Ponti lamps from the Sixties are positioned on display counters inspired by Carlo Scarpa. A winter garden in white marble and glass, mirroring the one in Villa Necchi, is a standout with floors in Lasa marble worked as a mosaic with Bois Jourdan marble and porphyry.
