NEW OPENING – On 17 October Milan has been enriched by a new, suggestive bar at number 5, via Torriani, a stone’s throw from Milan’s Central Railway Station. An innovative and pet-friendly idea which doesn’t lack of surprise, but which is deeply rooted in the Japanese tradition, for example at the ‘Neko Café’ in Osaka. In its inner spaces, six adorable cats saved from neglect and adopted by cafeteria owners Alba Galtieri e Marco Centonza are just waiting to be petted, maybe while the guests are sipping one of the feline-themed cocktails listed on the menu or while savouring a tasty potato pie, pleasantly named ‘Gattò di patate’, from the assonance between the French word ‘gateau’ and the Italian ‘gatto’, which means cat. The cozy atmosphere is supplied with comfortable kitty beddings and toys which, together with the projection of a movie like ‘The Aristocats’ or ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’, will turn each coffee break into a must-do experience at least once in a life.
Open daily 9.30am-9.30pm
