NEW OPENING – A new location dedicated to experimental cuisine has taken up residence in via Vincenzo Monti. Though its name Ghe Sem has a decidedly oriental flavour, it is actually of Milanese origin. The venue serves tapas-style dim sum upgraded with an Italian twist, without the addition of too many spices. Its pasta, on the other hand, is made according to the recipe used for traditional Chinese ravioli but, in this case, its fillings differ. Some examples? In addition to more traditional steamed meat fillings, other quirkier varieties include ossobuco and saffron, Fassona beef with caramelized onions and then squid and ikura, i.e. salmon roe.
