Mercato Metropolitano Re-Opens in Porta Genova

NEW OPENING – The area surrounding what used to be the old Porta Genova railway station, which during Expo also hosted the Mercato Metropolitano, has been given a makeover turning into a 5,000 sq.m space fully devoted to entertainment. Until 14 October, indeed, visitors accessing the area can enjoy an open air cinema, sports activities including basketball and football matches, reading laboratories, special events, as well as spaces where adults and youngsters alike can indulge in a moment of relaxation. Moreover, street food also plays a key role, offering a tasty selection of sweet and salty specilaities to satisfy all taste whims, plus a gelato corner powered by the renowned Gelateria Il Rigoletto.
Open Mon-Fri 5pm-1am and Sat-Sun 11.30am-1am.
