NEW OPENING – Who said printing is dead? Gate 44, an artistic print shop conceived as a centre of excellence, experimentation and the exchange of ideas in the field of engraving, has opened in corso Magenta. Gate 44 was founded by two young innovators sharing a passion for research and the art of printing, who decided to pool their experience and intellectual skills. This contemporary printmaking hub focuses on traditional printing techniques and is set in a beautiful mid-eighteenth century courtyard in the heart of Milan’s historical centre. The space is available for events including lectures, book presentations, debates and exhibitions.
