NEW OPENING – Salmoiraghi & Viganò returns to grace piazza Cordusio with a new flagship store. A return because it was, in fact, the year 1880 when the opticians, known simply then as Viganò, set up shop in piazza Cordusio marking the beginning of what was later to become a small empire under the Salmoiraghi &Viganò Group, currently boasting 450 sales points scattered throughout major Italian cities.
The store covers a surface area of 500 square metres on two floors. The ground floor showcases the latest collection of prescription glasses and sunglasses, plus a vast selection of contact lenses, while the second floor is given over to the collections of the most prestigious brands, highlighted by the ‘glamzone’ display area, i.e. thematic islands that were also recently launched in Milan – at its San Babila store – and in Turin.
Its flagship stores focuses on top-level customer service, supported by a staff of skilled technicians, the excellent quality of Salmoiraghi Lenses and in-house services including free eye tests. However, above all, it is distinguished by an even larger assortment of brands which will also be accompanied, on a periodic basis, by the offer of limited edition specs and previews of the best collections.
Open Mon-Sat 10am-8pm; Sun 10am-7pm.
