Scalo Milano Outlet & More, the closest outlet to Milan’s city centre, doesn’t stop its growth. According to the five-year Future Vision Plan focused on digital transformation and sustainability to meet the goals of the 2030 Agenda, indeed, the Milanese outlet is about to turn into a smart city at the service of the local area in the upcoming years.

As part of the plan, by 2023 the offer of Scalo Milano Outlet & More will be enriched by the opening of 45 new stores and by the inauguration of a new multi-storey car park of over 20,000 square metres. In addition to offering its customers over new 800 parking spaces, the car park will be the first in Italy to pursue the “Parksmart” certification, which promotes sustainable mobility through more intelligent design and operation of the parking structure.

Moreover, according to the plan, the new premium fashion brand, as well as innovative high-level restaurants will be hosted in a new elevated square, connected to the multi-storey car park by a dedicated walkway. The Future Vision Plan also involves the creation of 1,500 sq.m of coworking spaces to help accelerate the suburban regeneration of Southern Milan, as well as to lighten transport and concentration in the city.

Since its inception, Scalo Milano Outlet & More has always valued digital services, multifunctionalism and suburban regeneration. It comes with no surprise then, that the 2020 Outlet Centre Performance Report Europe – carried out by the managers of 1,149 shops, belonging to about 110 labels produced by 76 international brands – has ranked Scalo Milano in 11th place in Europe and 3rd in Italy among large outlets, just 4 years after its opening.
