From 14 September to 15 December 2013, the Stables of Pavia’s Castle (only about 30 minutes from Milan) will be hosting a new exhibition dedicated to one of the most famous Impressionist painters: Claude Monet.
Monet au coeur de la vie” presents a selection of works of art from some of the most prestigious museums in the world: from the United States’ Colombus Museum of Art (Ohio), France’s Musée d’Orsay in Paris, South Africa’s Johannesburg Art Gallery, Romania’s Mnar in Bucharest, Latvia’s Latvian National Museum of Art in Riga and many other international destinations.
The audience will have the chance to admire some of Monet’s works and trace his steps during his artistic formation from the early years to his maturity, by following the exposition through an emotional and original journey allowing the public to discover the “person” and the “artist”.
The exhibition is a journey in the heart of Monet’s life, explained through the voices of six characters, key in his personal and artistic path.
