Born in 1969 near Bergamo, she is linked to the mountains, in particular to the ski resort of Selvino, with an important sports career that led her to win a medal at the Women Slalom World Championship (Sestrière 1997). She was elected in 2018 to the Italian Parliament and Regional Council, finally choosing this one. Lombardy is the Italian region with the largest number of inhabitants (almost 10 million) and municipalities (over 1,500) and the highest GDP in Italy.
